I am Spanish and I was looking for an internship in Paris

By Salvador The 28/04/2009

I am Salvador, I arrived at Disney in November 2008. I am Spanish and I finished my studies in Paris last year. Upon completing my Master in Computer Engineering, I was looking for a final internship in Paris. I had made lots of friends and was content with my life in France. Thanks to one of my friends I saw the job vacancy at Disneyland Paris and decided to apply. I was first contacted by a Human Resource Manager and then a few days later, by someone from Information Technology for an interview. I prepared myself for the interview, elaborated on my CV, my skills, my education and the manager (now my boss) was very interested in my profile, my final project and by my enthusiasm for joining the company. I found the vacancy attractive: it would allow me to learn new skills as the position did not involve programming. For me, this is an interesting company to work for due to its size. All the departments have worked with have taught me something about how such a large company works. The relationship with my colleagues is friendly and relaxed. There is always someone nearby to help me. My responsibilities include the production and analysis of dash boards and various other projects. The employee benefits are also very advantageous: a staff canteen, reductions for Cast members...
As a result of my internship I hope to gain strong working knowledge of the company, learn how to work in a team and improve my spoken and written French. I am sure I will succeed.
