Disneyland Paris signs a 7th agreement in favour of the recruitment of handicapped employees
|
Among the major axes of this new agreement, Disneyland Paris decided to focus on recruitment: the company has chosen to launch an ambitious recruitment program in favour of handicapped persons in order to reach the objective of 120 recruitments over 3 years. The previous agreement on the recruitment of handicapped employees helped the company increase its staff by 13%, and today that makes a total of 476 handicapped employees carrying out some of the many trades at Disneyland Paris: catering, boutique sales, ticket hostess, department assistant, seamstress, animation attraction operator, technician, etc. “At Disneyland Paris there are no positions reserved for handicapped persons. All our positions are open. As for the rest of our recruitment, talent is the main concern. We seek above all competence that can be expressed in our company where more than 500 trades are represented”, declares Sylvie BRACQUEMOND, in charge of Mission Handicap at Disneyland Paris.
A new partnership with TREMPLIN and ADAPT
In partnership with ADAPT, Disneyland Paris will work on various aspects of the agreement, whether on the subject of recruitment with its participation in the Semaine pour l’emploi des personnes handicapées (Week for the employment of handicapped persons), or the subject of maintenance of handicapped persons in the workforce through awareness campaigns. ADAPT offers its corporate partners all the experience it has acquired among the 12,000 persons it accompanies each year. “What we wish to do is work together with the companies that are willing and open to all competences such as Disneyland in order to optimise their handicap actions”, explains Ghyslaine WANWANSCAPELL, assistant director of ADAPT. Together with the association, Tremplin, Disneyland Paris intends to reinforce its commitment in favour of the professional integration of handicapped workers, in particular through the systems of block release training and internships. “We offer Disneyland Paris a concrete answer to their wish to develop their capacity to receive interns, to have persons who combine their school courses with work experience and the integration of young graduates, as they expressed in their 7th agreement”, declared Christian Grapin, director of the association Tremplin. |
