Disneyland Paris brings an artistic dimension to its European recruitment campaign
Disneyland Paris celebrates the advent of Turku and Tallinn as European cultural capitals through an original happening linking recruitment and art, two areas which do not normally combine.
Ville Savimaa, a famous Finnish graphic designer, will launch the recruitment session on 28 January at Turun Messu- ja Kongressikeskuksessa in Turku. As the conductor of the whole piece, Ville will orchestrate interviews between the candidates and the Disneyland Paris recruiters through artistic events based on the values of the company fostering a diverse and multicultural work environment.
"Art can prove a remarkable booster in facilitating a rapport between a company and a candidate, offering an alternative route to discover a work environment" declares Jean-Noël Thiollier, Director of Talent and Reward at Disneyland Paris. "This event is the reflection of our dedication to the world of magical shows and invites candidates to discover what happens backstage", adds Mr Thiollier.
The event is a landmark in a European recruitment campaign starting on 24 January in Stockholm during which more than 3,000 positions will be offered. Recruiters will interview for positions in hospitality, sales, F&B as well as support functions (Marketing, Legal, Communications, Human Resources, etc...)
Candidates wishing to meet Disneyland Paris recruiters for an interview in Finland, the Baltic States or any other country of the recruitment tour will have to register on www.disneylandparis-casting.com or on www.facebook.com/disneylandpariscasting prior to the meeting. While no specific experience is required, it is necessary to be 18 years of age, have a good knowledge of the French and English languages and possess a strong affinity for working on a team. All candidates selected for a position will be offered the opportunity of lodging in one of the Disney residences close to the Parks.
